GENEVA, August 29, 2026 — The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) announced its newly elected leadership and Members of the Executive Committee following the completion of elections during the organization’s 44th Plenary Assembly at World Health Organization Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

The newly elected leaders will help guide WFUNA’s strategic direction, strengthen collaboration across the United Nations Association network and advance civic engagement in support of the principles and purposes of the United Nations.

About the 44th WFUNA Plenary Assembly

WFUNA’s 44th Plenary Assembly convened member United Nations Associations in Geneva from August 27–28, 2026, for governance, dialogue and collective decision-making. The Assembly provided WFUNA’s membership with a central forum to establish priorities, reinforce accountability and coordinate action in support of the principles and purposes of the United Nations.
