Panel Discussion on Women`s Participation in Social, Political, and Economic Life

2023-06-26

We're delighted to remind you about the impactful "Youth for Women's Rights" campaign. As part of this initiative, young individuals participating in our program across various regions of Georgia have actively engaged with local communities in villages and towns, spreading awareness about women's rights.

Now, we cordially invite you to join us for a thought-provoking panel discussion that marks the culmination of this impactful campaign. Tune in via Facebook Live on June 27th at 12:40 p.m. to be part of this empowering event!

The discussion will revolve around the crucial role of women in social, political, and economic spheres. We're honored to have the following esteemed speakers join us:

  • Ana Abashidze, founder of "Partnership for Human Rights."
  • Rusudan Gotsiridze, Bishop of the Evangelical Baptist Church.
  • Lela Gafrindashvili, philosopher and professor at Tbilisi University.
  • Oktai Kazumov, writer, translator, and publicist.

Our moderator for the event is Tamta Khutsishvili, Program Manager at the United Nations Association.

Feel free to engage with our panelists by asking questions during the live discussion through Facebook Live comments.

This event is organized as part of the The local Investments in Networks for Knowledge and Skill-share (LINKS) project, generously funded by the European Union in Georgia.
