UNA-Georgia and SMEDA Empower Entrepreneurs: Meet the Startups at UNA@Tbilisi Open Air

Did you know that fostering the growth of entrepreneurs is one of UNA-Georgia’s priorities?

To achieve this goal, we are actively collaborating with SMEDA under the USAID Unity Through Diversity Program. 

Through collaborative endeavours, we are committed to extending support to startups, micro and small enterprises, via the “starta“ business accelerator and subsidy program. These initiatives aim to nurture and empower entrepreneurs, ultimately fostering the development of a robust and sustainable business ecosystem across the regions of Georgia.   

On June 23-25, at @UNA@Tbilisi Open Air (event), in cooperation with SMEDA, you will have the opportunity to meet some of the Program-supported startups: 

Cosmo 

"Cosmo," a multifaceted enterprise specializing in handmade accessories, has gained recognition both domestically in Georgia and internationally.  

“Cosmo” offers an impressive range of products encompassing 70 distinct categories. Their diverse collection features an array of meticulously crafted items, such as handmade natural leather bags, wallets, and bow ties, as well as natural wood rings, wood earrings, bow ties, coasters, brooches, bookmarks, diaries, various metal necklaces, bracelets, and other accessories.   

IVIKO 

IVIKO offers a range of wooden and floral accessories, including hairpins, hangers, brooches, mirrors, sticks, forks, and combs, all showcasing the unique beauty of natural materials.  

Lilith 

"Lilith" specializes in crafting accessories adorned with vibrant and uplifting designs. Their stand will showcase a delightful assortment of colourful wooden brooches, earrings, greeting cards, and bracelets. The core mission of "Lilith" is to inspire girls by instilling self-confidence and self-love while reminding them of their limitless potential to achieve anything they set their minds to.  

Handicraft 

"Handicraft" is a brand specializing in children's toys and clothing, established in 2018. At their stand, they will exhibit a range of products including educational children's books, waist bags designed for both adults and children, knitted toys, visually appealing animal-themed backpacks for children, and delightfully printed tote bags.
