International Tolerance Day 2022

On November 16, UNA Georgia celebrated the International Day for Tolerance within the framework of the USAID "Unity Through Diversity" program along with the USAID office , the Public Defender and the Tolerance Center representatives.

The event opened with an exhibition of the works of Bishop Rusudan Gotsiridze.

The Deputy Public Defender of Georgia introduced the statement of Nino Lomjaria to the audience about the main trends, challenges and achievements of religious freedom and civil integration in Georgia.

John A. Panel addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. Who is the director of the Caucasus Mission of the US Agency for International Development - USAID.

The first part of the event ended with the presentation of the achievements of the Tolerance Center in terms of civil integration and religious freedom in Georgia, by the representatives of the Tolerance Center: Beka Mindiashvili, Izabella Osipova and Koba Chopliani.

At the end of the event, Guardience of Tolerance 2022 were awarded.
