Citizens Service Center

Citizens Service Center was four months duration program implemented by the coalition of prominent Georgian Civil Society Organizations UNA Georgia, Liberty Institute and Partners Georgia in 2007. The program was supported by the Open Society Georgia Foundation. 

The goal of the program was to implement effective service for the citizens in the Mayors Office. The program intended to provide legal status to the “Citizens Service Center” and develop the human resources of the center. The program benefited the staff of the Mayors Office and the personnel of the newly established “Citizens Service Center”.

The major outputs of the program were:

  • The legally regulated process of establishment and related reorganization of the Center
  • Development of the Center’s Structure
  • Determining Center’s authority and preparing reforming concepts
  • Trainings for the Center’s personnel
  • Other related consultations
