Assessment Survey Report of Integration and Tolerance Status Quo in Georgia Presentation

The Report was developed by a team of researchers, under the NITG, consisting of representatives of leading Georgian research institutions in cooperation with the Freedom House Europe office. The survey involved 2,400 respondents, and targeted all regions of Georgia with specific focus on ethnically diverse regions, to ensure an equal representation of public needs and expectations.

Research methodology, indicators and benchmarks were developed by the NITG research team and Freedom House Europe. Report was carried out with help of BCG Research, the Institute of Social Research (ISR), Applied Research Company (ARC), Chavchavadze University and ECMI.

The report’s main findings in terms of research, statistical data, integration status quo and basic attitudes of the general and minority populations in Georgia regarding the processes of integration and tolerance were presented.
The ceremony was welcomed by Mark Perry, DCM; and Bela Tsipuria, the Deputy Minister of Education.
The guests of the presentation were the Members of Parliament, representatives of the Council of Europe, European Commission Delegation to Georgia, OSCE Mission in Georgia, Eurasia Foundation, representatives of other International Agencies, Civil Integration and Tolerance Council Members, NITG partner agencies, representatives of minority groups, Georgian NGOs, and civil society leaders.
